Assistant of the Department of Medical Radiology Nigmatjonov AS led by the masters visited the Museum of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the 27th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The museum was founded in 1965. The exposition reflects the history of the Armed Forces, the martial arts of the peoples of Central Asia, as well as the current period of development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The museum also has an exposition devoted to the great commander Amit Temur, “Military Art of the Timurid Period.” Here are maps of military operations, schemes of soldiers’ recruitment, weapons, badges, and other exhibits of the Timurid era. There is also an exposition dedicated to the participation of the people of Uzbekistan in the Second World War. The exhibition “Fighting the Independent Uzbekistan” contains information on the types of troops, the lives of the military, their combat and military political training.
The building of the museum is located in the garden of courage. In front of the building is a statue of a soldier holding a weapon in the ashes, with the inscription “Defender of the Motherland.” Intelligence agencies, airborne defense fighters, sailors, pilots, tankers, soldiers, soldiers, border guards, military medical personnel, bombers have been set up. The building consists of 3 floors and expositions are covered by three military historical periods. The first period was devoted to the martial art of the Timurid era. The basis of the expositions is the 3rd military march of Amir Temur against Tuhtamish Khan. The 2nd period is devoted to the heroism of the Uzbek people during the years of the struggle against fascism. Each exhibition features personal belongings, combat awards and documents of Uzbek soldiers who participated in the fight. The 3rd period is called the Protection of Independent Uzbekistan. Impressions from the museum once again strengthened the sense of homeland in the minds of students.
