On May 10, 2019, the Department of Medical Radiology TTA 1st and 3rd year undergraduate and supervisor G.B. Khaidarova visited Republican specialized scientific-practical medical center of endocrinology.
The Center is the only modern medical diagnostic, research and pedagogical institution in Uzbekistan in the field of endocrinology. One of the most important tasks of the Center is to eliminate iodine deficiency conditions, to look for modern ways of treating and diagnosing diabetes, to carry out activities to treat the differentiation of thyroid cancer, including cellular cancer techniques and other types of operative approaches. . In addition, one of the main tasks is the introduction of various forms of pituitary adenoma, adrenal gland disease, international standards for neuroendocrine disease, the introduction of high-tech methods for the short-term treatment of various pituitary adenomas.
About 77% of clinical staff of the center are doctors of the highest category, during the 20 years of independence 21 doctoral and 101 candidate dissertations were defended in the specialized council of the Center of Endocrinology. Specialists and scientists of the Center for Endocrinology regularly conduct research on urgent problems in the field of endocrinology. They have published 8 monographs, 116 methodical and practical recommendations on 1201 scientific articles. In addition, 29 patents were obtained for scientific research and implementation.
The mission of the Center is to train clinical interns, masters and retraining of endocrinologists from various regions of the country.
